| Biography Working out of a studio in Southeastern Michigan, Theresa Latour distributes and licenses her work worldwide in the form of originals and prints. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 25, 1977, Theresa always excelled in art, especially drawing. After winning several awards for artwork in high school, Theresa decided to pursue her dream by studying fine art at Eastern Michigan University. Here she learned various techniques of drawing and painting, with an emphasis on the human figure. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Education Teaching Certification in 2000. After college, Theresa set out to begin her professional art education career. |
Theresa married her college sweetheart Jim on September 2nd, 2000.
She received her Master in the Art of Teaching from
Marygrove College in 2003.
Theresa and Jim live in Southeast Michigan with a whole bunch of pets
they consider their kids (Bianca the dog, Pepper and Punkin their cats).
They enjoy traveling together, playing softball, and adventurous things
like dogsledding, river rafting, and skydiving.
